    Reception on the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Moldova in London

    On September 25, 2012, the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland hosted a reception on the occasion of the National Day of our country.

    The event took place at Cambridge Cottage of Kew Gardens and was attended by guests from the Royal Palace, British Parliament, FCO, diplomatic missions accredited in London, businessmen, journalists, artists, etc.

    As well, there were representatives of the Moldovan diasporas in the UK and Ireland. The event has offered a great opportunity for interaction and communication among guests, who appreciated the Moldovan traditional dishes and wines.

      On 22 August, Vilen Murzac, Charge d`affaires a.i., visited Spanish Embassy in London and expressed full solidarity with the Spanish colleagues, on the occasion of the appauling terrorist acts commited in Barcelona and Cambrils on 17 August 2017. Mr Murzac signed the book of condolences in memory of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the attacks.

    • Moldovan Rock Band, Zdob si Zdub, will hold a concert in London

      Their first Eurovision experience is Moldova’s debut in the Contest, dating back to 2005. At the 50th edition Zdob si Zdub represented their country with the song "Boonika Bate Doba”, placed 6th in the Final.
