    The current activity of the Embassy



    The team of the Moldovan Embassy participated in a MAD-Aid Charity Gala Evening on 14th of October 2017 on Isle of Wight, Great Britain. The event was held to mark the 5-year anniversary of MAD-Aid Charity, which was founded by Moldovan born Victoria Dunford. The organization helps children with disabilities in the Republic of Moldova, especially through Phoenix Centre, the centre for children with special needs founded in 2015 in the north of Moldova, Riscani

    During the event, Mr. Vilen Murzac, Chargé d'affaires of the Embassy of Moldova gave a congratulations speech to MAD-Aid on its 5th anniversary, as well as calling for further support to be provided to the Moldovan nationals’ initiatives to carry out philanthropic projects and actions.

    NB: During the course of its work, MAD-Aid had distributed over 200 tonnes of humanitarian aid in the Republic of Moldova.


    • Global Conference on Wine Tourism

      The Republic of Moldova has received the title of the "World Capital of Wine Tourism in 2018", in the context of hosting, for the first time, and under the aegis of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), of the III-rd edition of the Global Conference on Wine Tourism, in the period September 20-23, 2018.

    • British actor awarded for his work in Moldova

      Tony Hawks, the British actor and comedian, was awarded the British Empire Medal by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in recognition of his support for children with disabilities in the Republic of Moldova, as well as of all support provided by the Tony Hawks Centre in Chisinau.

    • Announcement

      On 22 August, Vilen Murzac, Charge d`affaires a.i., visited Spanish Embassy in London and expressed full solidarity with the Spanish colleagues, on the occasion of the appauling terrorist acts commited in Barcelona and Cambrils on 17 August 2017. Mr Murzac signed the book of condolences in memory of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the attacks.
