    On 31 October 2017, Mr Vilen Murzac, Chargé d'affaires had a meeting with students of the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. During the meeting, the participants discussed about the internal social and political situation of the Republic of Moldova, including the Transnistrian region, as well as the tourist attractions of the country. The group of international students will visit the Republic of Moldova on 5-8 November. During their visit, the students will have meetings with representatives of governmental institutions, opinion leaders, representatives of civil society etc. The visit is being organised by the Delegations for Dialogue, a UK-based non-profit organisation, which is intended to enable students to acquaint themselves with different regions of the world and to promote cultural diplomacy.

      On 22 August, Vilen Murzac, Charge d`affaires a.i., visited Spanish Embassy in London and expressed full solidarity with the Spanish colleagues, on the occasion of the appauling terrorist acts commited in Barcelona and Cambrils on 17 August 2017. Mr Murzac signed the book of condolences in memory of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the attacks.

    • Moldovan Rock Band, Zdob si Zdub, will hold a concert in London

      Their first Eurovision experience is Moldova’s debut in the Contest, dating back to 2005. At the 50th edition Zdob si Zdub represented their country with the song "Boonika Bate Doba”, placed 6th in the Final.
