    VISA-FREE REGIME BETWEEN THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA AND THE FEDERATION OF SAINT KITTS AND NEVIS

    On 2nd March 2018, Mr. Vilen Murzac, Charge d`affaires a.i. of the Embassy and H.E. Dr. Kevin M. Isaac, High Commissioner of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland signed the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis on the abolition of the visa regime for holders of diplomatic, official, service and ordinary passports.

    This Agreement shall enter into force on the 30th day after the receipt of the last written notification through diplomatic channels that internal procedures necessary for its entry into force have been completed by the Contracting Parties.

    It is also important to note that diplomatic relations between these 2 countries have been established on 8 September 2018, in London.

    • Global Conference on Wine Tourism

      The Republic of Moldova has received the title of the "World Capital of Wine Tourism in 2018", in the context of hosting, for the first time, and under the aegis of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), of the III-rd edition of the Global Conference on Wine Tourism, in the period September 20-23, 2018.



    • British actor awarded for his work in Moldova

      Tony Hawks, the British actor and comedian, was awarded the British Empire Medal by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in recognition of his support for children with disabilities in the Republic of Moldova, as well as of all support provided by the Tony Hawks Centre in Chisinau.



    • Announcement

      On 22 August, Vilen Murzac, Charge d`affaires a.i., visited Spanish Embassy in London and expressed full solidarity with the Spanish colleagues, on the occasion of the appauling terrorist acts commited in Barcelona and Cambrils on 17 August 2017. Mr Murzac signed the book of condolences in memory of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the attacks.
