A Moldovan-British Charity Forum was held on 22 May 2018, in London. The event was organised by Mrs Jane Ebel, Coordinator at the HealthProm charity, who works for important charity projects supporting vulnerable children in Moldova. The forum was held at the British Parliament with the generous support of the Lord Bowness that brought together many participants: Lord Bowness, John Glen MP, Lucy Joyce, British Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, John Beyer, St Antony’s College, Oxford (former British Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova), as well as representatives of British charitable organisations carrying our charity related activities in the Republic of Moldova, representatives of the Moldovan community in the UK and others. The Embassy was represented by the Chargé d'affaires of the Embassy, Vilen Murzac.

Discussions focused primarily on ways to enhance cooperation between the charitable organisations, the business environment and the Moldovan community in the UK.

It is to be mentioned that currently there are about 40 British charities in the Republic of Moldova aiming to provide support to vulnerable groups, especially children.
