    On June 13-19, 2011, in Cardiff, Wales, there takes place the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World 2011, where the Republic of Moldova is represented by the soprano Valentina Naforniţă. All details about the event, the biography and the repertoire of the participant from our country can be found on the web page http://www.bbc.co.uk/wales/cardiffsinger/sites/2011/pages/moldova.shtml. Valentina Naforniţă has been selected following a tough previous competition. She will compete on June 15, together with the participants from Germany, Austria, Wales and Ukraine.

      The 7th E5P (Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environment Partnership) Assembly meeting of Contributors was held at EBRD Headquarters on 7 December 2017.

      The 30th Regular Session of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Assembly is being held in London from 27 November to 6 December 2017.

      On 22 August, Vilen Murzac, Charge d`affaires a.i., visited Spanish Embassy in London and expressed full solidarity with the Spanish colleagues, on the occasion of the appauling terrorist acts commited in Barcelona and Cambrils on 17 August 2017. Mr Murzac signed the book of condolences in memory of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the attacks.

    • Moldovan Rock Band, Zdob si Zdub, will hold a concert in London

      Their first Eurovision experience is Moldova’s debut in the Contest, dating back to 2005. At the 50th edition Zdob si Zdub represented their country with the song "Boonika Bate Doba”, placed 6th in the Final.
