      Meeting with High Commissioner of Jamaica in London

      On September 01, 2017, Mr. Vilen Murzac, Charge d`affaires a.i, ​​had a meeting with H.E. Mr. Seth George Ramocan, High Commissioner of Jamaica in London. The discussions cantered on mutual interest in developing bilateral relations in several areas and exploiting existing opportunities. In particular, the parties discussed cooperation in the framework of International Maritime Organization and other UN specialized structures.

      The Embassy of the Republic of Moldova expresses solidarity with the Spanish colleagues

      On 22 August, Vilen Murzac, Charge d`affaires a.i., visited Spanish Embassy in London and expressed full solidarity with the Spanish colleagues, on the occasion of the appauling terrorist acts commited in Barcelona and Cambrils on 17 August 2017. Mr Murzac signed the book of condolences in memory of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the attacks.

      Charity ball MAD-Aid

      On 6th of February, the Counselor of the Embassy, Mrs. Oxana Borta, participated at the Charity Ball 2016, organised by the Association MAD-Aid (Medical Aid Delivered) from the United Kingdom. The main purpose of the event was to collect funds for the maintenance of the Phoenix Center in Moldova, designed to provide early intervention and social inclusion for children with disabilities.

      On December 6, 2012, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova, Mr. Iurie Leancă, had a meeting in Dublin with members of the Bassarabian Community in Ireland.       On September 1, 2012, Mrs. Mihaela Manoli, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy, participated at the launch of the MAD-Aid charity in East Cowes Town Hall, Isle of Wight. MAD-Aid is a new charity that will operate in the Isle of Wight for the benefit of disabled children in the Republic of Moldova. The acronym MAD stands for „Medical Aid delievered” and „Make a difference”.
