25 years since the establishment of Moldovan-Polish diplomatic relations
On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Poland, today, 14th of July, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Andrei Galbur, conveyed a congratulatory message to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, Witold Waszczykowski.

In the congratulatory message addressed to his polish counterpart, head of the Moldovan diplomacy mentioned that Moldovan-Polish relations of friendship and fruitful cooperation at various levels have seen a considerable development over the last quarter century.

Republic of Moldova appreciates the development assistance provided by the Government of the Republic of Poland, the projects implemented in our country having a significant impact for the Moldovan society. The message also states that the intense political dialogue between both countries allowed setting priorities for collaboration in areas of mutual interest such as trade, good governance, agriculture and regional development.

  • On the terror attack in London

    The Embassy condemns the hideous terror attack committed on 22 March in London. We express our solidarity and support to the British authorities and our sincere sympathy for the victims of the attack and their families and wish them full and speedy recovery.



  • Development of cooperation with Ireland

    Vilen Murzac, Chargé d'Affaires a.i., had a meeting with Mr. John O'Sullivan, Acting Director of the Division for Policy and Eastern Partnership of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Ireland, and Ms Joanne King, Deputy Director of the Division, on February 10, 2017



  • Visit of the Speaker of the Republic of Moldova in Ireland

    Mr. Andrian Candu, Chairman of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, paid a working visit to Ireland, in the period 9-10 February 2017.



Announcements

  • Moldovan Rock Band, Zdob si Zdub, will hold a concert in London

    Their first Eurovision experience is Moldova’s debut in the Contest, dating back to 2005. At the 50th edition Zdob si Zdub represented their country with the song "Boonika Bate Doba”, placed 6th in the Final.



  • Announcement

    The Queen Elizabeth II Academy for Leadership in International Affairs is now inviting applications for Academy Robert Bosch Fellowships (Russia and Eurasia).
