Foreign Minister Andrei Galbur will participate to the OSCE Ministerial Council in Vienna
On 6-9 December 2017, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Andrei Galbur will participate in the 24th meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Vienna, Austria.

During the meeting will be taken stock of OSCE activity in 2017 and will be examined current issues on the agenda of the organization.

Particular attention will be paid to the settlement of regional conflicts, including the Transnistrian issue. Also on this agenda, a declaration on the conduct of the "5 + 2" negotiation process is expected. The head of the Moldovan diplomacy will address a speech dedicated to topical issues for the OSCE.

Traditionally, on the sidelines of the meeting, Minister Galbur will hold talks with counterparts and other foreign officials in order to strengthen the dialogue between the Republic of Moldova and its partners.

    The 7th E5P (Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environment Partnership) Assembly meeting of Contributors was held at EBRD Headquarters on 7 December 2017.

    The 30th Regular Session of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Assembly is being held in London from 27 November to 6 December 2017.

    On 22 August, Vilen Murzac, Charge d`affaires a.i., visited Spanish Embassy in London and expressed full solidarity with the Spanish colleagues, on the occasion of the appauling terrorist acts commited in Barcelona and Cambrils on 17 August 2017. Mr Murzac signed the book of condolences in memory of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the attacks.

  • Moldovan Rock Band, Zdob si Zdub, will hold a concert in London

    Their first Eurovision experience is Moldova’s debut in the Contest, dating back to 2005. At the 50th edition Zdob si Zdub represented their country with the song "Boonika Bate Doba”, placed 6th in the Final.
